Involved in the Malaysian spa industry for many years, she realised that this multi-million dollar industry is constantly short on trained human resources. At the same time, single mothers, early retirees, and the physically challenged are all potential resources for the industry as with young adults with an interest in mind body spirit wellness who are entering the work force . Datin Ramona also believes that the Malaysian spa industry is in desperate need of re-branding and moving to a higher level of delivery. The winds of change can only come from education, knowledge and accreditation.

Energy Academy will be a platform for providing both local and internationally accredited courses, as well as providing quality training by a global network of industry professionals and master therapists. It aspires to elevate local standards of professionalism to meet with international ones. Apart from our own programmes of the highest quality and designed to meet local accreditation and needs, we also offer programmes from leading worldwide bodies such as CIBTAC UK, Confederation of International Beauty and Cosmetology.

Career development assistance
Career development for those who train with us is a priority of our Academy and naturally the main concern we have for all students of our Academy. We therefore plan to assist them by helping to secure sources of scholarships, study grants, and study loans to assist those who need them.

We also provide expert advice on career development and redevelopment in the field of spa and wellness. For those who aspire to become Spa Managers, we provide Spa Management training programmes with practical training and work attachments to prepare them well for a career in the industry. Our networking in the spa industry both locally and internationally is an added advantage for our students when they are ready to join the industry professionally.
